About DangleData
DangleData is a free, independent stats site for people who follow player props in the NHL, NFL, NBA and college football. It answers one question quickly: how often has this player actually cleared this line lately?
Every morning during each season we pull player game logs from the leagues' public data, load the day's player prop lines from major U.S. sportsbooks, and compute hit rates against every posted line over a recent window: the last 10 games for hockey and basketball, the last 5 for football. On game days we refresh again about an hour before the first game so lines are current.
What you get
- A dashboard for each league that ranks every player with a line today by their recent hit rate, filterable by stat, game and alternate line, as cards or a table.
- Game logs with opponent context, such as how many shots, points or yards the opponent allows per game and where that ranks.
- A page for every rostered player and every team, with season stats, hit rates against common lines, and matchup notes, so you can look a player up by name or browse by team.
- A Pick of the Day for each league, chosen by the numbers from trend, matchup, history and price, with every pick we have ever shown graded in public.
- A watchlist and parlay calculator that live in your browser only. There are no accounts, and we never see your picks.
What we are not
We are not a sportsbook, we do not take bets, and we do not sell picks. Hit rates describe the past; they are not predictions and not betting advice, and the Pick of the Day is a worked example of our method, not a recommendation to wager. DangleData is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NHL, the NFL, the NBA, the NCAA, any team, player, conference or sportsbook.
Data sources
Statistics come from the leagues' public data; betting lines are aggregated from U.S. sportsbooks. Lines change constantly; always confirm the current number at your sportsbook.
